The U2charist is a communion service that features the music of U2 as performed by the North Carolina-based rock band U2FX and a message about God's call to rally around the Millennium Development Goals. The U2charist applies to all Christian faiths and raises funds for missions and ministries supporting these goals.
The U2charist:
+ Calls people to a deeper faith and engagement with God's mission
+ Helps eradicate extreme poverty and hunger
+ Reduces child mortality
+ Promotes universal primary education and equality
+ Fights disease such as AIDS
